Don’t forget, if you have any questions about any of our products or would like to see one of our products featured here on The Shakespeare Shoppe Web Series – get in touch.
Episode 3 of The Shakespeare Shoppe Web Series is now online – this time we feature the Shakespeare Black & White Round Metal Watch and Hamlet quote Throw Cushion Cover as examples of what is currently available from The Shakespeare Shoppe on Ebay (which you’ll find here). Enjoy!
Episode 2 of The Shakespeare Shoppe Web Series is now live – this time we feature the Shakespeare Classic Leather Handbag currently available from The Shakespeare Shoppe on Ebay (which you’ll find here) and answer a couple of customer questions about the Oversize Office Leather Handbag featured last week. Enjoy!
Yep, it’s true – The Shakespeare Shoppe now has it’s very own web TV series, called The Shakespeare Shoppe Product Web Series! (Yes, okay, we know, not that inventive, but we didn’t say we emulated Shakespeare – just that we like him. Oh, okay, we’ll work on the title and get back to you …)
The idea of this new web series is to present the various products available for purchase at The Shakespeare Shoppe. All episodes are presented by Head Designer, Sally McLean – but we’re working on getting some special guests in on the gig as well … stay tuned.
Episode 1 covers the oversize office leather handbags currently available from The Shakespeare Shoppe on Ebay (which you’ll find here).
Feel free to leave any comments or feedback and we’ll see you in Episode 2! (okay, with a better title … we’ll keep working on that …)
Yes, you can get it on t-shirts and mugs and tote bags, etc, but now you can have your very own stunning leather handbag too! Oh, and it also comes on an iPhone4 case – here (just in case you want one of those too).
More items are being listed on Ebay as we go and there will be some new Folio and Quarto products added to the main Shakespeare Shoppe site over the next week – so stay tuned!
Okay, so not really Shakespeare-related in a direct sense, but in a literary/English/classic text sense … it qualifies for inclusion. Really, it’s just because we really like this design and love these handbags – which is why this one features here, despite a somewhat tenuous link to our usual subject matter …
And we’re still a little bit obsessed with our Ebay store – where this Alice in Wonderland Grunge Leather Handbag has just been added, so that is the other reason why we’re blogging about it. With its grungy, almost goth-feeling image of Alice (taken from Sir John Tenniel’s original illustration) with the word “Alice” repeated behind her in a grungy, distressed font – we like the slightly darker take on the usual Alice in Wonderland theme.
We love this tee (if we say so ourselves). This great quality women’s dark t-shirt sporting the famous quote from Shakespeare’s Hamlet: “This above all: to thine own self be true” is currently proving to be highly popular here at The Shakespeare Shoppe – and it’s not just available on tees – you can get it on caps, mugs, pajamas and more!
Part of our “Carnivale Mask” collection of Shakespeare’s Quotes, this is one of 17 designs currently available, with more on the way. The t-shirt itself is a standard fit 100% cotton, preshrunk, durable and guaranteed and comes in four colors: black, red, Caribbean blue and violet.
As we said, we love it. If you’ve loved it and bought it, feel free to let us know and send us some pics to share with others too! We’d love to hear from you.
For those who have been following our updates, you’ll know that we recently opened a store featuring exclusive gear from The Shakespeare Shoppe on Ebay. Well, our product and design offerings are slowly increasing and here’s the latest to be added to the fold!
This oversize office leather handbag features (on both sides of the bag) the quote by William Shakespeare: ”By the pricking of my thumbs something wicked this way comes” said by the Witches in Macbeth. A stylish design featuring this famous quote using a carnivale/theater mask with flourishes for the person who is inspired by the classics, this artwork is exclusive to The Shakespeare Shoppe, designed by Sally McLean.
Plus – this unique artwork appears on both sides of the bag, which means you can show it off wherever you are and truly stand out from the crowd!
Large enough to house a 15” laptop and your regular files from work, the bag is also able to incorporate other vital items such as makeup and magazines. Perfect for any Shakespeare fan, this bag will add a touch of uniqueness to your Arts-related fashion collection and is sturdy, of good quality and stylish to boot!
Okay, so enough sales pitch from us … like it? Then click HERE to see it, read more about it and buy it! (Go on, you know you want to …
We’ll keep you updated with new items, hot items and just items that take our fancy as things progress.
‘Till next time … may all your accessories have a Shakespearean bent …
The Shakespeare Shoppe Team Now on Ebay! (in case you missed it)
We are very excited to announce that The Shakespeare Shoppe is now on Ebay! AND … we’re selling a new range of products, exclusive to our Ebay store (ie – you’ll only get them on Ebay – they are not available here on our main site).
We are predominately selling leather handbags featuring some of our most popular Shakespeare designs, which we know you’ll love (as we do – Sally has had to be restrained from buying any more of her own stock, otherwise she will have nothing left to sell!).
These products are all manufactured in our warehouse in Hong Kong and then sent out to you as soon as they are printed and packaged. And we do have more than handbags available. There are high-quality chrome metal keyrings and iPhone4 Hard Cases also on offer, with cufflinks, playing cards, cushion cases, jigsaw puzzles, clocks and watches to come.
You’ll also see that we are selling more than Shakespeare themed products on our Ebay site as well. As we run several stores online (all entertainment or literature related), we have included some of our Alice In Wonderland designs, as well as our Actor designs and some of Sally’s photo collage artwork.
Shakespeare Gold Crest Classic Leather Handbag
We are particularly excited about the Photo collage work – and are working towards making all of those designs available over the coming weeks on as wide a range of products as possible.
And we will keep adding the Shakespeare-related designs – so let us know if there’s something you’d like to see on a handbag or pair of cufflinks, and we’ll get right onto it!
The selection of products is slowly growing, with more products added each week, and we’ll keep you updated via this blog and our Twitter and Facebook feeds – so make sure you keep an eye on our updates to find out what’s new!
Due to popular demand (ie – you asked for it), The Shakespeare Shoppe has undergone a design revamp and is now “New and improved!” as they say on the telly.
It might not look too much different from the front, but trust me, the back-end programming is wearing a whole new ensemble, including snazzy new bonnet and fancy expensive knickers – to use a somewhat dubious analogy.
It’s been a long haul, overhauling the site – but it is now done (for now). So, what are the changes?
The biggest change you’ll notice is the navigation. I had many requests to sort the store out via product, rather than design and so … your wish(es) is my command. You will see that you can now click on the links at the top (and bottom) of the site and be taken straight to all the products available in each product type and then see what designs are available on each type of item. So, if you just want to see our Women’s Dark T-shirts – you’ll go to “Women’s Apparel” at the top of the site, then click “Dark T-shirts” on the drop down menu – and viola! There are all our Dark T-shirts with their individual designs available for you to browse.
You can still check things out via Subject – just look to the sidebar on the main store pages and you’ll see “Shop by Subject” and a (short) list of subjects underneath. Click on any of these (for example “All Shakespeare T-shirts & Gifts” and you’ll see all the designs we stock relating to Shakespeare. Click on any of those designs and you’ll see all the products we stock featuring that design.
I’m always open to feedback (obviously), so if you have any comments or further suggestions, just leave a comment here.
There are lots more exciting things happening – so stay tuned for further updates!
