Welcome to the new-look Shakespeare Shoppe for 2019 and a new Shakespeare t-shirt design to go with it! Yes, we know we’re a day early, and we’re still moving into this new virtual home, but as the store is run by an Aries, we like everything to happen yesterday, so why fight it?
Even though we’re still unpacking our digital boxes and putting things around our virtual space, we wanted to get straight down to business. We’re excited to share all these cool designs with you, so why wait? These blog posts will feature one design from our catalogue every other day, so we can showcase everything on offer here in the store. We intend to do this regularly going forward into 2019, so keep checking back!
So, we’re seeing out the last day of 2018 with a brand new design for 2019 – “It’s All Shakespeare To Me” (White Tee Version). As with all our designs here in store, this creation is by Australian actress, Sally McLean (who has a bit of a Shakespeare obsession) and has been running The Shakespeare Shoppe since 2006 (we did mention this was a long-running obsession, right?). This new design showcases over a hundred sayings coined or created by Shakespeare that we still use today – from “Green Eyed Monster” to “Fair Play”, you’ll be surprised at just how much we quote Shakespeare in day-to-day conversation!
